We are happy to announce that our Park Tool School Workshops will continue in 2017!
The Park Tool School is a hands-on maintenance and repair clinic written by Park Tool and taught by the experts here at TriCycle and Run. Learn how your bike works, how to change a flat or overhaul your bike completely. Clinic curriculum and materials originate from the BBB-3 Big Blue Book of Bicycle Repair, which acts as the outline for each clinic. Our clinic will review the basics of home bicycle maintenance, plus give you the skills to perform basic bicycle tune-ups and diagnose and repair mechanical issues as they arise.
Registration fee: $150 (includes a Park Tool Mechanics Apron & a copy of the Park Tool Big Blue Book of Bicycle Repair – a $50 Value)
January Park Tool School: January 8 & 22 REGISTER HERE
February Park Tool School: February 5 & 19 REGISTER HERE
**UPDATED** March Park Tool School: March 12 & 19 REGISTER HERE
Each workshop is a 2-day classroom style setting. Class hours are 9:00am-1:00pm. Lunch will be provided each day. The registration fee of $150 is due on the first day of class. Day one of each workshop will be an overview of basic bicycle information and maintenance knowledge. Day 2 will be an intense hands-on classroom, so you are encouraged to bring your bicycle with you to class. If you do not have a bicycle, but still want to learn, we can provide you with a bike to work on. You should prepare to get your hands dirty on day 2! It is truly a FUN experience, and a great workshop for every bike enthusiast!
REGISTRATION is required for these workshops as space is limited. Please use the links posted above to register for either January, February or March.
HOLIDAY SHOPPERS, we think it is a great idea to purchase a GIFT CERTIFICATE to cover the cost of the clinic for the bike enthusiast in your life. If you are interested, please call Laura today (410)745-2836.

As for race day, please plan to arrive at the shop (TriCycle and Run – 929 S. Talbot St. – St. Michaels – MD – 21663) no later than 8:30am to pick up your bib and complete registration. Please plan to park at St. Michaels Elementary School (on Seymour Ave.), then make the short walk down to the shop. There will be a pre-race meeting in the front parking lot at 8:45am. We will then walk as a group to the start line across the street at 9:00am.
As usual, this event is designed to be FUN!! As such, this is a prediction race….meaning that just because you cross the finish line first, doesn’t necessarily mean that you are the race winner. You will need to guess your finish time by the closest margin to be declared a race winner!!
We can’t wait to see you all in a few weeks!!
We had a great turnout for a blustery January morning run to benefit the St. Michaels High School National Honors Society clothing drive! Many thanks to all that made the trip to our beautiful town this morning!
Take a look at the haul!

Congratulations to Matt Sparacino who was our lone race ‘winner’ this morning (and also crossed the finish line first)! He guessed his finish time within 5 seconds!
Registration for our February event will be open soon! Stay tuned, but mark your calendars for February 17, 2019!!
