2022 IRONMAN MARYLAND BIKE SERVICES

TriCycle and Run is your Official Bike Partner for IRONMAN 70.3 Eagleman.   We look forward to this event nearly as much as the athletes participating do!  It is our honor and privilege to help each of you cross that finish line on September 17, 2022! 

For those of you requiring bike fly-in or shipping services, we are here to help!!  For anyone that plans to ship their bike to our retail location, we offer a special ‘valet-style’ service.  Please check the details below:

BIKE SHIPPING/VALET OFFER:

  • Ship Bike to our Retail Location prior to Race Day Weekend  We will UNPACK, ASSEMBLE, TUNE & DELIVER your bike to the IRONMAN VILLAGE  (*shipping labels must be provided*)
  • All bikes must be received at our retail location no later than Tuesday, September 13.
  • DISASSEMBLE, PACK, & SHIP (*with customer provided shipping label*)
  • Special note:  this is much like a valet service for your bike.  We will deliver your bike to the IRONMAN Village, and we will retrieve your bike from transition following the race.  We will then bring your bike back to our retail location to prepare it for return shipping the week after the race.
  • Athlete is responsible for the shipping cost.  We highly recommend using BikeFlights for shipping.  Your local bike shop should be able to assist!
  • COST = $150 

FLY-IN/ON-SITE OFFER:

  • UNPACK, ASSEMBLE and TUNE at IRONMAN Village site
  • DISASSEMBLE & PACK at IRONMAN Village site
  • We will store your bike box/case for the duration of the event.
  • We prefer that you plan to pick up your bike from our tent inside the Athlete Village on Sunday, September 18th after 11am. Please keep in mind that our mechanics will be out on the race course with the athletes on Saturday. They will return on Sunday morning to disassemble bikes.
  • COST = $200 

If you only require service for pre- or post-race, that is okay as well – pricing will be adjusted as needed.

We can also make arrangements to deliver your bike to the Transition Area if you do not have the means to do so yourself.  For any inquiries regarding these services, please feel free to email Laura at immd@tricycleandrun.com!     Don’t need assembly services, but want to have your bike tuned up before the big day?  Check out these special offers that will be available at our tent inside the IRONMAN Village!  

ELITE RACE TUNE-UP: PRICE $90

SERVICE INCLUDES:

  • Lube and adjust drive train
  • Inspect and adjust front and rear brakes
  • Inspect and tighten axle skewers and bolts
  • Inspect tires and tire pressure
  • Inspect and adjust seat clamp bolt
  • Inspect and adjust all stem clamp bolts
  • Inspect pedal attachment to crank arms
  • Inspect wheels, spokes and hubs-touch up wheel true

BASIC RACE TUNE-UP: PRICE $60

SERVICE INCLUDES:

  • Lube and adjust drive train
  • Inspect and adjust front and rear brakes
  • Inspect tires and tire pressure

2021 IRONMAN 70.3 Eagleman Bike Services

TriCycle and Run is your Official Bike Store for 2021 IRONMAN 70.3 Eagleman on Sunday, June 13th!

Below please find all the information you need for Bike Services for the  2021 IRONMAN 70.3 Eagleman event on Sunday June 13.  We look forward to this event every year, and look forward to helping all of you meet your IRONMAN goals this year!

FLY IN SERVICES:


SHIP-TO-STORE OFFER:

  • Ship Bike to our Retail Location prior to Race Day Weekend
  • UNPACK, ASSEMBLE, TUNE & DELIVER to IRONMAN VILLAGE $75 (*shipping labels must be provided)
  • DISASSEMBLE, PACK, & SHIP (*with customer provided shipping label) $75
  • $150 TOTAL for Valet Service
  • Please note that all bikes shipped to our store, but be received NO LATER than Wednesday, June 9th.

ON-SITE OFFER:

  • UNPACK, ASSEMBLE and TUNE at IRONMAN Village site $100
  • DISASSEMBLE & PACK at IRONMAN Village site $100
  • $200 TOTAL for On-Site Service

BIKE TUNE-UP OFFERS:

(Please note that Tune-up services are offered on a first come, first serve basis.  We are not able to schedule these services ahead of time.  You can email us in advance to request priority services if you do not have a local bike shop readily available to use prior to travel.)
