St. Michaels ChocolateFest 5K

Looking for something DELICIOUS to do in March? Come join us for the ChocolateFest celebration, presented by the St Michaels Business Association, on Saturday, March 7th, 2020 (https://www.stmichaelsmd.org/chocolatefest for more information).

Kick off your morning with a beautiful 5k (3.1 mile) run/walk and burn off those calories (so you can fill them back up with delicious CHOCOLATE!!!!) before heading in to town for all the festivities. Our course will take you on the St Michaels Nature Trail, with a few minor road crossings. Participants will check in at TriCycle and Run, located at 929 S. Talbot Street, before heading over to the start area.

Packet pickup and registration begin at 8am, with the run/walk starting promptly at 9am.

Participants should park at the St Michaels Elementary School parking lot (100 Seymour Avenue, St Michaels, MD).

Awards will be given out for Overall Winners, as well as age groups.

“I Thought They Said RUM” Free 5K Fun Run

That’s right, it’s back!  Once again, we have partnered with our friends over at Lyon Distilling Co. to bring you another “I Thought They Said RUM” Free 5K.

Join us on July 13th and make sure you keep your bib to take down to the tasting room!

Race time is 9:00am and on-site registration will begin at 8:00am. Please plan to arrive no later than 8:30am to complete your registration and pick-up your bib number.

As always there is no registration fee, however we do ask that you bring a donation to a local charity in our community. This month we are asking for donations for Talbot Humane. Any and all pet items are welcome! Come out and help us give back to the community that has supported us these last eight years!

We believe in having FUN, and we will continue the fun with our winners being determined by who can guess their finish time by the closest margin. If you can guess your time within 10 seconds, then YOU will be a WINNER!

As usual, this event is open to everyone. All ages, all abilities, and even pets are allowed. One requirement….HAVE FUN! We hope to see you on July 13th! PLUS, when we say RUM, we mean RUM! Our friends at Lyon Distilling Company will be opening their tasting room doors early for participants immediately following the event. Stop by with your bib number for a taste of locally made spirits right here in our beautiful town! PLUS, your bib number will get you an exclusive RUM RUNNER discount of 10% off!

Please remember to park at St. Michaels Elementary School (on Seymour Ave.), then make the short walk to the shop for the race start. The pre-race meeting will begin at 8:45am in the front parking lot.
