2019 Ride for SMYLE set for October 20

Riders from across the area unite!!! Come join us in beautiful Talbot County for various distances of riding to support the St Michaels Police Department’s SMYLE (St Michaels Youth and Law Enforcement) program. This ride will begin and end in St Michaels and will take you to areas such as Tilghman Island, Neavitt Landing, the Oxford-Bellevue Ferry, Oxford, Trappe and many of our beautiful back roads.

Choose from 32 miles, 48 miles, 75 and 100 mile options. The 75 and 100 mile options will take you across the historic Oxford-Bellevue Ferry, with it’s beautiful views of our local waters and small towns.

Show and Go times begin at 7am and we would like everyone to start on their respective courses by 9 am. The longer you want to ride, the earlier you should start. Mechanical and SAG support will wrap up at 3pm.

Come and show your support for this wonderful program! A portion of the proceeds will go directly to this program, so that the youth of St Michaels can continue to have positive interactions with our local law enforcement officers.

2018 Park Tool Workshops

We are happy to announce that our Park Tool School Workshops will continue in 2018!

The Park Tool School is a hands-on maintenance and repair clinic written by Park Tool and taught by the experts here at TriCycle and Run. Learn how your bike works, how to change a flat or overhaul your bike completely. Clinic curriculum and materials originate from the BBB-3 Big Blue Book of Bicycle Repair, which acts as the outline for each clinic.  Our clinic will review the basics of home bicycle maintenance, plus give you the skills to perform basic bicycle tune-ups and diagnose and repair mechanical issues as they arise.

Registration fee:  $150 (includes a Park Tool Mechanics Apron & a copy of the Park Tool Big Blue Book of Bicycle Repair – a $50 Value)

REGISTRATION is required for these workshops as space is limited.  Please use the links posted above to register for either January, February or March.

HOLIDAY SHOPPERS, we think it is a great idea to purchase a GIFT CERTIFICATE to cover the cost of the clinic for the bike enthusiast in your life.  If you are interested, please call Laura today (410)745-2836.
