LOVE Run Free 5K Fun Run set for February 15

Join us on Saturday, February 15 for their LOVE Run Free 5K Fun Run to benefit Talbot Humane.  Help them show a little love to the animals of Talbot County by pledging to bring a pet item as your ‘registration fee’ for this free, and always fun event!

Talbot Humane has been serving our community for over 80 years, and your donations will keep their efforts going strong in 2020. For a list of items, you can check out their wish list on Amazon (available through their website, www.talbothumane.org). But like every animal shelter, they can always use pet food, pet toys, paper towels, towels, pet bedding, etc.

The FUN RUN series is designed to be just that….FUN!  We keep things fun by having the fun runs set up as prediction races. What is a prediction race? We ask you to try and guess your finish time and then, the participant that comes closest to their official time is declared a race winner! Any participant that guesses within 10 seconds is declared a winner in our book. Sound like fun? You should come give it a try!  Some races we have no winners, and some races we have had 10 winners!

Online Registration HERE

On-site registration and bib pickup will begin inside the shop at 8:00am. The race will begin at 9:00am. We ask all participants to try and arrive no later than 8:30am. Please plan to park at St. Michaels Elementary School (200 Seymour Ave.), then make the short walk down to the shop.

We hope to see you on February 15th!

2020 Park Tool School Classes Announced

We are happy to announce that our Park Tool School Workshops will continue in 2020!

The Park Tool School is a hands-on maintenance and repair clinic written by Park Tool and taught by the experts here at TriCycle and Run. Learn how your bike works, how to change a flat or overhaul your bike completely. Clinic curriculum and materials originate from the BBB-3 Big Blue Book of Bicycle Repair, which acts as the outline for each clinic.  Our clinic will review the basics of home bicycle maintenance, plus give you the skills to perform basic bicycle tune-ups and diagnose and repair mechanical issues as they arise.

Registration fee:  $150 (includes a Park Tool Mechanics Apron & a copy of the Park Tool Big Blue Book of Bicycle Repair – a $50 Value)

2020 DATES:

February Park Tool School:  February 16 & 23  REGISTER HERE

March Park Tool School:  March  8 & 22  REGISTER HERE

If there is enough interest, we may schedule an April Workshop as well, so let us know if you want to attend!

If you want to confirm your spot, please complete registration, and if you want to submit payment, please send the registration fee to http://PayPal.Me/TriCycleandRunLLC

Each workshop is a 2-day classroom style setting.  Class hours are 9:00am-1:00pm.  Lunch will be provided each day.  The registration fee of $150 is due on the first day of class.  Day one of each workshop will be an overview of basic bicycle information and maintenance knowledge.  Day 2 will be an intense hands-on classroom, so you are encouraged to bring your bicycle with you to class.  If you do not have a bicycle, but still want to learn, we can provide you with a bike to work on.  You should prepare to get your hands dirty on day 2!  It is truly a FUN experience, and a great workshop for every bike enthusiast!

REGISTRATION is required for these workshops as space is limited.  Please use the links posted above to register for either February or March.
