(Jason completing the Ironman Florida 70.3 in April for Team BlueLine, carrying the Thin Blue Line Flag)
As you know, we are a family of law enforcement and law enforcement supporters with two kids of of our own. For years we have wanted to raise money for a cause that would benefit the families of those that gave the ultimate sacrifice. We have found that organization in Team BlueLine and have already competed two races this season in their name.
In October, Laura will be completing her first 70.3 distance, and Jason his second 140.6 Ironman in North Carolina. Please help us as we raise money in the name of a fallen officer while we train for this event. We have already paid for everything for the race so EVERY DOLLAR DONATED goes directly to the family.
Each year Team BlueLine Racing looks to support and fund raise for a family that has lost a hero. In 2016 Team BlueLine will be racing and fundraising in memory of Bibb County Sheriff’s Office K9 Narcotics Investigator Anthony “TJ” Freeman. TJ is survived by his wife Jessica and children, Braden (11 years old) and Blaiklyn (6 years old). On May 5th 2016 “TJ” and his K9 partner were responding to a vehicle pursuit when the suspect’s vehicle rammed his patrol car. TJ suffered fatal injuries in the vehicle crash. That day his family, both blood and blue lost a hero. http://www.odmp.org/officer/22836-investigator-anthony-tj-freeman
Please help Team BlueLine, Laura and Jason, honor this hero who gave all in the line of duty and consider donating to this worthy cause. Team BlueLine- “For those who gave all”
