2018 IRONMAN Maryland Bike Services

TriCycle and Run is your Official Bike Partner for IRONMAN Maryland.   We look forward to this event nearly as much as the athletes participating do!  It is our honor and privilege to help each of you cross that finish line on September 29, 2018!  We will cheer for you as Mike Reilly announces, “You ARE an IRONMAN!”

For those of you requiring bike fly-in or shipping services, we are here to help!!  For anyone that needs to ship their bike to our retail location, we offer a special ‘early bird’ discount for the services.  Please check the details below:

BIKE SHIPPING/VALET OFFER:

  • Ship Bike to our Retail Location prior to Race Day Weekend UNPACK, ASSEMBLE, TUNE & DELIVER to IRONMAN VILLAGE  $75 (*shipping labels must be provided)
  • DISASSEMBLE, PACK, & SHIP (*with customer provided shipping label)  $75
  • Special note that this is much like a valet service for your bike.  We will deliver your bike to the IRONMAN Village, and we will retrieve your bike from transition following the race.  We will then bring your bike back to our retail location to prepare it for return shipping the week after the race.
  • Athlete is responsible for the shipping.
  • $150 TOTAL

FLY-IN/ON-SITE OFFER:

  • UNPACK, ASSEMBLE and TUNE at IRONMAN Village site  $100
  • DISASSEMBLE & PACK at IRONMAN Village site  $100
  • We will store your bike box/case for the duration of the event.
  • $200 TOTAL

If you only require service for pre- or post-race, that is okay as well.

SPECIAL PRE-RACE DAY TUNE-UP FOR $75

SERVICE INCLUDES:

  • Lube and adjust drive train
  • Inspect and adjust front and rear brakes
  • Inspect and tighten axle skewers and bolts
  • Inspect tires and tire pressure
  • Inspect and adjust seat clamp bolt
  • Inspect and adjust all stem clamp bolts
  • Inspect pedal attachment to crank arms
  • Inspect wheels, spokes and hubs-touch up wheel true

RACE DAY CHECK OVER FOR $50

SERVICE INCLUDES:

  • Lube and adjust drive train
  • Inspect and adjust front and rear brakes
  • Inspect tires and tire pressure
