Can you believe that it is almost time to head back to school?!  No?  Neither can we, but we just haven’t figured out how to slow down time just yet.  With that in mind, it is time for our next FREE 5k in the monthly series, so we are both happy (and let’s face it, a little sad) to announce the BACK TO SCHOOL 5k on Saturday August 13 will benefit the Bay Hundred schools.  As always these events are ‘free’ to participants in that we don’t ask for a registration fee.  However we do ask for a donation to a worthy cause, and this month we are asking you to bring classroom supplies for us to distribute to the local schools.

Our 5k series utilizes the St. Michaels Nature Trail for a scenic 3.1 mile run/jog/walk through our beautiful town.  If you plan to join us for the event, please remember to park at the elementary school then make the short walk down to the shop for the race start.  On-site registration will begin at 7:30am and the race will begin promptly at 9:00am.

Oh yeah, one more little note…our races are ‘prediction races’ so our winners are determined by how closely you can guess your finish time!  Don’t cross the line first?  No problem!  Just guess your time within 10 seconds and YOU will be a WINNER!
